26.09.2012 Pozořice near Brno The Czech Union for Nature Conservation presented, in co-operation with its general partner, NET4GAS, already the 51st locality within the mutual Closer to Nature programme to the public. The locality is the Pančava children’s nature reserve, a magic place for a walk or a destination trip not only for children.

26.08.2012 Slavkov near Uherské Hradiště The Czech Union for Nature Conservation (ČSOP) with its general partner, the NET4GAS company, presented another natural site to the public. The wetland meadow lures visitors through rare plants, a restored natural spring with benches to sit down and rest on for a while and through even a reptile bed.

26.06.2012 A total of 107 children set out for the routes of nature trails within the NET4GAS Closer to Nature programme at the end of June. The authors of the winning pictures of the art competition Paint and Be Closer to Nature! and their classmates spent a day in nature with a guide and visited together a wildlife shelter of the Czech Union for Nature Conservation.

21.10.2011 On 20 October 2011, thanks to NET4GAS Closer to Nature program, we made accessible Chlumská Mountain. In this site, the visitors can see a rare plant - Sorbus Rhodanthera rowan, which is not to be found elswhere in the world.

29.09.2011 On 29. 9. 2011, we have opened another orchid paradise. Nearby the municipality of Capartice in the Domažlice region, a two-kilometre educational trail was built, representing already the 42nd location opened within the NET4GAS Closer to Nature programme together with ČSOP.

29.08.2011 Orchid meadow in Střelná u Teplic is opened to the public. NET4GAS Closer to Nature. It is already the second location opened within the NET4GAS Closer to Nature programme this year.

Valašské Meziříčí Tourists may now visit a unique pool not far from the town of Valašské Meziříčí and admire more than 20 dragonfly species and other precious animals and plants.

Two new natural locations were opened to public in Moravia in October: a bird-watch near Šumperk and a path to sulphurous springs in the Zlin Region.

In its "Encounters with Nature" campaign (www.setkanisprirodou.cz) the Czech Union for Nature Conservation (ČSOP) has prepared 17 interesting nature trips in the regions of Moravia-Silesia, Southern Moravia, Zlín, Southern Bohemia, Olomouc, Liberec, Central Bohemia and Prague. These events, aimed at the public and offered free of charge, will take place from June 13-22. ČSOP, together with its main sponsor NET4GAS, has also announced that it will be holding a photographic contest for participants, with a tent and a subscription to the Naše příroda (Our Nature) magazine up for grabs as prizes.
