Adder's Tongue

is a perennial protected fern of the plant genus Ophioglossum. This plant with a height of up to 14cm occurs in humus, alkaline and clay soils and wet and swampy meadows. It is common in the whole territory of the Czech Republic at the altitude of up to 1500m. Southern addestongue is a highly threatened plant and is protected by law.
