Old World Swallowtail
is one of our most beautiful butterflies, who also belongs among the largest day butterflies in the Czech Republic. It is most often found in meadows, however, you can also see it in the gardens, where the females lay eggs. For instance carrot, dill or fennel serve as its host plants in these areas.
