St. Bernard's Lily

this perennial herb grows up to 80 cm tall. Under the ground it has a short tuberous root and its leaves grow in a ground rosette. They are plain, sessile with parallel venation and reach up to 7 mm in width. Its flowers are arranged in raceme. St Bernard's lily grows in warmer areas of West, Central and North Bohemia. It does not appear in Moravia. It predominantly grows on rocks, dry hillsides and sunny shrubs.
