Martagon
also called Turk's cap lily, is a representative of perennial plants. The plant grows up to 120 cm tall and has a blotchy stem and flowers that are arranged in sparse racemes. Martagon is demanding in terms of quality of the surrounding environment – it requires nutritious and humic soils with good permeability. For this reason, people can encounter it in broad-leaved and mixed forests from lower locations to mountains. In the CZ this plant is protected as endangered species.
