Early Marsh Orchid
is a perennial herb growing to 30 to 60 cm. Its flowers are pink or light purple. Dactylorhisa incarnata flowers in the period from May to June. The plant seeks sunny places with sufficient moisture like shores, low-level bogs or sparse reeds. In the Czech Republic, this plant can be found in the Southern Moravia. Dactylorhioza incarnata is included among strongly endangered species of our flora in the Red List.
