Noctule Bat
belongs among the most common CZ species. Its body is covered with rust-coloured hair. Its food primarily consists of caddis flies, insects, butterflies and beetles. It goes hunting as early as at dusk and likes to hunt above water expanses. Noctule bat has the most piercing voice of all our bats and is well audible to the human ear. It has a life span of up to 8 years. This species is not endangered, however, requires protection.
