Willow Gentian
a relatively tall and ornamental species of mountain areas, 30 to 80 cm tall. It has a lignified stem, in sunny locations it has an overhanging stalk. The leaves are distributed along sides in two rows. The flowers only grow on the top side. In the sun, the stalk is direct, leaves decussate and flowers growing in the axil of leaves in the top stem section and are light-blue, rarely also white or even pinkish. It blooms from July to September. From the point of view of endangerment it belongs among the rare species of our flora.
