Small-Laved Helleborine

this perennial herb grows up to 30 cm tall. Its stem is pilose and coloured in grey to purple. Helleborine has greenish to purplish flowers – the outer petals are grey-purple, the internal greenish. It blooms in the period of June to August. It grows in broad-leaved forests, seeks limy soils rich in nutrients. It is a critically endangered species.
