Edible Frog

is a hybrid form capable of independent reproduction. It originated as a result of marsh frog and pool frog crossbreeding. Its average size is about 10 cm, females can measure up to 12 cm. It is present in water expanses (ponds, lakes and slow-flowing rivers). In the event that they are startled, males splash water behind themselves in an arc up to 30 cm tall. They attain maturity in the third year of life, their lifespan is about 10 years. Edible frog is a severely endangered species.
