European Tree Frog

is a small frog, which is the only species of its family in the CZ (Hylidae family representative). It is present in damp environment where it feeds on invertebrate tadpoles, but also on insects and spiders it finds on tree leaves. Its body grows to 5 cm and has a very variable colour. Its skin pigments react to temperature and humidity and its colour changes from light-green to dark-green, yellowish, grey or even to brownish. European tree frog is a severely endangered species of animals and is strictly protected by the law.
