Sorbus Rhodanthera

is a 3 – 10 m tall tree with oval crown. It is endemic to Chlumská Mountain near Manětín in Western Bohemia. The tree grows in light, deciduous forests and in overgrown taluses. It is very similar to Sorbus Milensis, only the anthers are darker and the pomes bigger. It blooms in May, the blossoms are white, then it sets orange-red pomes. It is one of the critically endangered species.
