Eurasian Reed Warbler

A common inhabitant of stands of reed or (less frequently) reed mace. It flies in short bursts with an undulating flight pattern, the tail feathers partly spread. This is a migratory bird that arrives in our latitudes at the end of April or the beginning of May, warms up on its mating call, and begins to build its nest. Between September and October, the bird leaves for the African savannahs.
