Common Reed Bunting

A typical wetland bird, nesting primarily in reed beds, copses, and willow thickets on water-logged meadows. In autumn, the bird will make forays into grain fields in its search for food. It is mostly brown and off-white in colour, with darker streaks. The bird is partially migratory, and its European representatives tend to overwinter in the south of the continent.
