Brandt's Bat

One of the smallest bat species, weighing in at a mere 4 to 9 grams. It can be told apart from the Whiskered Bat by the lighter colour of its fur, but above all by the shape of its teeth. Its distribution centres on forested areas, especially in hilly country, uplands, and promontories. In the Czech Republic, Brandt's Bat is considered a rare species.
